Bobbi and Tom's House

The house that they built is amazing. Very grand, yet intimate and welcoming.
After Blake and Anna went to Garza to get dorado for dinner, theyn picked me up (Andy went with them) and we raced to their house, via the dump road, a very sad affair of trash strewn roadside. We were racing the sun and arrived in time to watch it set, 2 miles away, into the ocean. The view from the edge of the pool was framed by tropical greenery, setting off mountians and beach. Pure bliss. The patio between the pool and house is covered by a towering lanai, which has a wall of glass that opens completely into the living room, with its 20 foot ceilings (I'll change that height if I am a little off). The diningroom and kitchen are in a wing to the right of the livingroom. The architectural details in the vaulted ceiling is mesmerizing. The kitchen is ultra luxurious with with beautiful granite counters and an amazing wood dining bar, 13 feet long. The wing opposite houses the master bedroom and offices for each and 2 major bathrooms, one housing the best seat in the house - their toilet faces the heavenly view.
After many delcious White Russians or something like that, we all found a place to sleep comfortably through the night. Saved the kids having to drive us back to our place and gave us another great meal prepared by them. It took 14 eggs to make the outstanding omelet. Though small, there were a few too many eggs, so the dogs benefitted.
